A Great Golf GPS
I read all the reviews and compared all the features of golf GPS’s before selecting the Golf Buddy Pro. I especially liked the feature that all the courses and course information were already loaded on the unit or available for free from the Golf Buddy website. And of course, that large color screen. When I received the unit, I immediately put it on the charger while I reviewed the User Manual…it’s pretty slim because the unit does most functions automatically. The next day I went golfing. Within 5 minutes, the unit initallized and indicated I was on the first hole of Highlands Reserve. The unit advanced automatically hole by hole without any user input from me. The GPS seems very accurate and the screen is exceptionally bright in all lighting conditions. I did notice that if your riding a cart, it takes a few seconds for the unit to stablize after stopping before giving an accurate distance. I am now using some of the more advanced features including adding and editing my own hazards, measuring distances hit, and keeping track of my scores. Ok, does it really help your game. The answer is yes!

Very Pleased, Glad I Went With Golf Buddy Tour
I thought long and hard between the skycaddie and the golf buddy. I was nervous that the Golf Buddy was “too good to be true”, but decided on it anyway because of the no yearly fees. All of my golf friends have the skycaddie, so I know that it works great. I took the risk with the golf buddy tour and have been very pleased every round. The yardages are exactly the same as the skycaddie, and my friends are stuck paying $50 a year for the same yardages. Not only is the color screen easy to read and shows up in any lighting, the size of the Golf Buddy is perfect. The skycaddie looks like a walkie-talkie while the golf buddy looks like a sleek electronic gadget.

You will not be disappointed with the GBT. I got it out of the box, charged it, went to Heron Bay Golf Course in Locust Grove, GA, turned on my GBT, it instantly recognized where I was, it knew I was approaching #1 tee, and from there on it gave me accuarate distances to the programmed targets. No syncing, no adding courses, just turned the thing on. Even on an overcast day and a rainy day, the GBT still gave me yardages.

Adding your own target, measuring your shots, and keeping track of your score are all very easy. The skycaddie has about 6-7 buttons while the GBT only has two main buttons. It’s a synch to use. Apple might as well have invented the thing.

You’ll love it. Spend the extra money up front. If you are a wife or girlfriend, get this for the man in your life. He will be amazed that you made the right choice on the best golf gps there is!

CONS? Are you kidding me? No cons!!!

Very Satisfied….Great Product
So I did my homework like everyone does when buying something we know very little about….what a great decision to buy this Callaway uPro!

The device is about the same size as my Palm Centro but half the weight…not bulky or heavy at all in the pocket…you definitely need a screen protector as I already have some small scraps and I tried to baby it over this past weekend playing five rounds…bought Zaggs Invisi-shield for it and it looks great and well protected now.

This is extremely easy to use…very simple controls and after one round you will have mastered all the functions and abilities. I played courses with both Pro Mode and Basic Mode….Pro Mode is very nice but you can function just fine in Basic Mode. I definitely prefer to have ProMode if at all possible, especially on courses you have never played before.

The most important thing I learned so far is….you absolutely have to use the the screen saver (Sleep Mode)…to play two full rounds…I had absolutely no problems linking back up with the satellites (2-3 second delay)…with Sleep Mode on I played two rounds (36 holes) and still had half a battery left compared to only 21 holes without Sleep Mode on. I kept the backlight on 10% for both scenarios…but I think I can bring the backlight up higher with the Sleep Mode on and enjoy all the beautiful colors on the screen more.

My friend uses one of the Bushnell Pin Seeker range finders and he was definitely enjoying all the information I get to bunkers and water, ect. He wants one…just doesn’t want to spend anymore money this year on golf!

First hole played with it I put my shot within 6 feet on approach and just missed the birdie. Played sub-handicap most rounds with it…very good since these were courses I rarely play and have little knowledge for layups, ect. I’m keeping this baby for a long time…

Augusta National is loaded on my GPS…will I play there?….who knows! Still love looking at the aerial fly-bys though!

Battery charging does take around 3 hours….there is no decent looking skin for the uPro and I definitely will need something or its going to get pretty scraped up.

Takes some time getting used to downloading courses to the GPS….not extremely difficult, just need to get used to navigating the screens. I loaded 10 courses on a slow connection and it took around 40 minutes…wish I could just download courses from the GPS without using my computer….maybe that will be an upgrade later. Single course downloads take around 5-10 minutes.

Anyways….work flawlessly…matched my friends range finder almost every time…I’m extremely happy and do not regret this purchase in the least.

I did pay the $120 for the 50 Pro Mode downloads…kind of expensive…but I probably won’t pay anymore money for a long time.

Give it a try…you are gonna love it!

Lightweight and small GPS with a great feature
The upro is a great device that has a lot of positives when using it on the golf course and some negatives when at home.

Pros:
Great gps, with the calibration the device is super accurate
The flyovers are great when playing a course for the first time, or if you haven’t played a course in a while.
The overhead views are great and the any point technology is better than a laser rangefinder. You get the exact distance to carry a trap or water, and you can know this no matter what the terrain looks like. With a laser rangefinder it is impossible to know exactly if you have an uphill shot and can’t see the surface of the green.

The basic mode courses are all free, which gives you the same information you would find in other gps that charge a fee. The pro mode is priceless and with the course bundle packages you can get courses for just about 2 dollars a course!

Best customer service anywhere for anything, they treat you like you should be treated as a customer, no matter what you buy or how much you pay for something. The best reason for buying this is not the free courses, its the customer service that is impecable.

Misses
The syncing to the computer is really poor, the device does not sync every time you hook it up. There are errors the first three times I connect to my computer. I hope this gets taken care of in a soon to be released software update. This I am sure will be fixed soon, as there customer service is the best I have ever dealt with period. They respond about 10 minutes after I submit a request through the website by calling you on the phone, and you get to speak with someone not just an email response.

Before you complain to much about assembly let me tell you a story. Once upon a time these kitchens where made of cardboard and had to be assembled inserting slots into holes. The instructions weren’t good and so it literally took all night for my dad to put one together for Christmas. This is very similar to one my sister had when she was about five and she loved it, but even my brother and I joined her in playing with it. Although I don’t own one of these new wood ones, a friend does. The only thing else you need is table and chairs and a dish and silverware set. Then they are all set. You can’t beat the quality and amount of fun the kids will have. This kind of set draws in the neighbor kids to play and give them all many hours of safe entertainment that is close at hand. If you need something more than that for incentive I don’t know what to say. As for the price it may seem a little high, but it really isn’t considering the amount of fun this will generate for the kids. Add in the fact it will last long enough to be handed off to family or donated to a good cause. I highly recommend this for your kids.

Easy to Assemble
I agree with a previous reviewer…I don’t know what everyone was talking about with assembly problems. My only thought is that they didn’t look at the directions possibly? I assembled this with help from 3 kids under the age of 5 in a few hours. Would have been quicker if I hadn’t had the help:) But I found it to be easy, the directions were VERY clear, with pictures and very well written directions. Durability, it has been great. I have caught my kids in the refrigerator and climbing on the stove:) All held up well, thank GOD!;) Apparently the novelty of trying to climb it is in the past and now we are cooking mommy and daddy meals all the time. Great toy, great buy and great investment.

Kitchen
Despite our many problems in this order thru Amazon, we are thrilled with it! All problems were rectified, though I really had to stay on top of Amazon for get it resolved. That being said…I believe the problems we had with warehouse packing errors have been resolved and I cannot imagine others with have these difficulties. My 3 year old daughter LOVES the kitchen (her birthday present) and her 4 year brother is enjoying it as well. It was tedious put together, but instructions are well written, color coded system easy to follow. Took us about 1 hour to assemble. Very nice product, and I believe it was well worth our money…and even trouble in ordering! Thanks Amazon for resolving…and for offering a good price! Thanks, as always, to Melissa and Doug for putting good, solid educational toys out there for kids who don’t need lights, sounds and other distractions in order to be good toys!

Great product!
The butterfly kit is wonderful! I am a teacher and raised butterflies with my kindergarten class and am now doing it with my six year old daughter at home. Kids love watching them change and learning about the life cycle. Be warned that there is an extra fee ($5) involved to send away for the caterpillars, but it is still worth it.

Educational and Fun!
My kids (2 and 5) love the butterfly habitat!! I always have an extra one in the house to give as a birthday present to one of my little girl’s friends. It is always a hit. Educational but also very cool!

Great for the classroom!
This is the second time I have used this particular brand of butterfly garden in my classroom. It is a great size for suspension from the ceiling or even a bulletin board, so that all of my students can view the process of metamorphosis as it occurs. I looked all over this Christmas to get my 3 year old the “Dancing Elmo toy. Cnn and everyone said it was great, and my sister got one for her daughter who really loved it.

When I went to the stores in our area, they were totally sold out. Amazon listed some in stock, by this was not true. I ordered, and 2 weeks later got email saying my order was delayed due to stock shortages.

So I called customer service who was VERY UNHELPFUL and finally had to talk to three people to find out that my order would not come in time for christmas. My 3 year old got a box with a IOU One Dancing Elmo card in it, and this was not a happy moment. One Jan 13th, finally the Elmo came. I opened it up and gave it to my son. I turned it on so it would dance for him, but he looked at it once and began to cry.

He cried all though elmos dancing and wouldnt come near it again. He also got sick all over it from fear and so I cannot return it. some kids may like it, but its not for everyone!

Great timer and quick shipping
This timer works exactly as it should. It is flexible and has the features one would need to do a variety of timed exposures. It is programmable for both daylight and astrophotography.

The only little change I would like is the addition of an on and off switch to save the battery. It remains on all the time if the battery is installed. Since it functions much like a watch this may not be a big deal since watch batteries typically last years.

The shipping was realtively quick considering it came from CA to IN.

I bought the TR1CMAC Timer Remote Control for my Canon EOS Digital Rebel Xsi camera to use with my telescope for astrophotography and it works great. JEEP FUN!!!
I bought this toy for my 2 year old daughter’s birthday. Both she and my 4 year old daughter love it!!! My 2 year old is still a little too short to reach the pedal, but she has fun just being the passenger while her sister drives. It has a slow speed which is good for my 2 year old and a faster speed which my nieces and nephew prefer. I would recommend this toy for great fun for the kids and good entertainment for the adults watching the kids have fun.

Great Toy Car
We purchased this car about 6 months ago and my 3 year old loves it. We paid a little extra and picked it up pre-built. I have made a list of Pro’s and Con’s below

Pro’s:
- It’s very Durable
- Works on the grass, gravel, snow and dirt very well
- Very easy to use
- With the fast charger it can be ready to go in under 2 hrs.
- The radio is another great added feature
- Easy to clean up any spills, food or anything else
- The battery is easy to remove for winter storage

Con’s
- It sometimes has problems climbing hills on the grass but I don’t think any other cars like this could climb it anyway.

In all it’s a great toy and I would suggest one of these to any fun loving kid.

This is a very good product!
I like this product a lot because it is not greasy at all… I have acne prone skin and after I had laser scar removal this was recommended to me. It is lightweight and very good for your skin! I would give it an A+.

Very good product
I bought this product after searching for a zinc oxide based sunscreen for the face. I had been using a Lancome product, but it was too pasty and left a white film on the face (a common problem with zinc oxide). This one is much, much better. It does leave a bit of a white film, but if you rub it in, it disappears. Zinc Oxide is the best and safest ingredient for sun protection. I highly recommend this product.
