TOO drying
I used this soap on my face and it REALLY dried my skin out. Used it again just to see if I would get different results, but it was the same. I trashed the soap. Did not like it at all. And I thought it would be good since it has olive oil in it.

Works great for eczema
My seven-year-old daughter has had eczema since just after birth, we have tried many various soaps, lotions, cream and prescription creams for her and nothing has made her skin feel smooth or helped to alleviate the itching. I bought these olive oil bars because of the Cosmetic Safety Database’s rating of 0 for this soap, meaning that it has absolutely no harmful chemicals. Your skin is the largest organ in your body, so what you put on it is quite important. My daughter used the soap and came to me after her shower and said “feel my skin.” I thought, oh, no what happened, but I was pleasantly surprised! Her skin was smooth, not like sandpaper!! I am so happy that we fund something that is not composed of potentially harmful chemicals, such as prescription creams, that thinned her skin. I use it for myself and have no skin issues, but love the olive soap, the smell is not perfumed, so some people will not be pleased with it, but I am okay with that, since perfumes and not generally good for your skin anyway. Some people also have issues with the soap turning gooey, the soap needs to be in/on a ventilated soap dish, they are very cheap and easy to find, the one that I use has little tiny “pegs sticking up and the soap sits on it, I purchased them from Target for $2 per two-pack.
